Investigate  |  Intense  |  Ambiguous

 

This is a title sequence design of the film Blade Runner. Using the dark room where photographs, symbol of memory, are developed,  this sequence show the ambiguous investigation of the replicant whom develops the memory to feel emotion. As the replicant opens its eye, the city light from the dead city comes in and photographs are exposed by the light, symbolizing human destroying the replicant's memory and rights. Later it is revealed that the dark room was inside of the replicant's eye.
